What happened to me was that very unoriginal but true experience, one day I started to draw and found I could not stop... and I still cannot.
Naturally I ruled out all the profitable university courses with a lucrative future and dedicated myself to studying illustration at the school of arts"Llotja", Barcelona.
I specialised in children's illustration and currently have three books published. But this is not the only branch of art that I enjoy, I also need the counterpoint of being able to work without following a text, of working with other mediums, techniques and sizes. Because of this, painting, engraving and also graphic design form a part of my work.
I enjoy working with things that occur in daily life but with a touch of imagination and, let's be honest, personal lunacy.
I am constantly daydreaming and I mix it with reality. My reality. I have to confess that my life has almost always been, and still is, in a state of flux. I have lived in different countries and I have travelled as much as possible. Sometimes alone, discovering myself, sometimes in company, absorbing my surroundings.
I do not have idols; I do not like the concept. But there are many artists whom I love and whose work moves me again and again... I am also passionate about many other art forms, especially folk art from different countries that, whilst they might not directly influence my work, but without which I wouldn't be able to enjoy and understand art in the same way. It would be impossible to cite all the influences, but I think it is necessary to mention the influence the art of tattooing has had for me. Its expression, its concept and its way of understanding life form a very important part of me.
